I've completed the main album i started a while ago using DCWV's Pocket Full of Posies papers =) It wasn't as spectacular as i hoped but still ok...i guess =o) I found some very cuuuuuuuuute DCWV baby boy & baby girl papers ^^ Very happy with them and can't wait to use them hehe

No luck with completing any Etsy listings at the moment. I am caught in a constant yo-yo with what prices to put on my paper and embellishment goodies ><

BaH! Need to get some travel insurance soonies too! Feeling overwhelmed with all these deals and prices =o/ I wanted to just wing it and go with one underwritten by Allianz despite the fact that some pplz have told me not to coz apparently Allianz overcharge on their prices or something like that. I should do it soon though...ONLY 3 MONTHS TO GO! AHHHHHHHH so excited yo! Which reminds me, i also should get some *BRIGHT* and *HAPPY* luggage bags for easy identification at the baggage carousel hehe and yes, i am thinking bright *PINK*

I have included this picture of Normie and I at Manly beach =p Everytime i see this pic, i feel a piece of my heart flutter followed by a sinking feeling >< I miss him so. To think that he is miles and miles on the other side of the planet! Why can't i just teleport there and back?! ^^ I miss bear cuddles!!!! I miss bear kisses!!! ^^ I will never ever forget those few days where i was very sick and he cooked a nice pot of beef soup! *licks lips* Awwww i could really go for some right now. I felt so nurtured - it was wonderful <3

Maria's Etsy Store Opens!

My camera arrived on Monday! Very quick delivery + service =o) I bought my new baby from www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au. I have taken some lovely pictures but haven't had the time to upload them to the PC as yet ^^


I finally opened my Etsy store after almost a year of repeatedly telling myself that I would "do it next week." Now the only trouble with this is, I have to do a photo shoot of all my items as well as write up item descriptions. This is going to take a crapload of time so i was thinking of doing one listing per day to ease the pain =o)

I'm so excited! I am finally doing this! WOOOOOOOO

YAY! Trivia night is coming underway and will be held @ my place! I only reached about 30 questions before i became very distracted with other stuff so i will have to make a note to myself to prepare for it =P What would be ideal prizes for everyone??? Just little knick knacks but what?!?! I was thinking of little notepads or stationary. Everyone loves stationary!!! I know my ladies will like it but i dunno whether the guys will lean towards that idea. LOL argh >< maybe i shall throw in some food too!

My Boo

I have been scrapbooking my arse off lately =p Very awesome, I feel like i still have my scrapbook mojo ^^ Our family's only digital camera took it's final breath of life last week and died on us so I can't post up any pix of my latest project using papers from Die Cuts With a View's collection, 'Pocket Full of Posies.' It's very loud and happy - just what i love =O)

I've been browsing other paper collections and am so envious of the popular scrapbook culture in America >< They have soooooo many COOL and EXCITING paper collections available to them at the moment...we don't really have anything as cool here at the moment =o( The new range from DCWV is the sex ;) Meh, I can't wait to go over to the States in December and splurge on scrapbooking supplies MUAHAHAHA =o) Norman says we can't go to the east-side of Bakersfield or we'll get shot =o( So hopefully those scrapbook stores on my "to visit" list aren't in those kind of areas...although i highly doubt a scrapbook store owner would open up in a hardcore gangsta area LoL I'm soooooooo excited!!!! Only 3 more months and one week and I'll be in Cali-ma-fornia!!!! WOOTERS!

My new camera should be arriving in about a week's time...then it shall be picture galore!!! How exciting! I think i should slow down on the splurging on my credit card hehe Julie wants to make out with my credit card, i think i do too!

I hate blogs without pix so i have littered this post with pictures of our favourite furry friend BOO! He's so funny sometimes. He's been very very persistent with the pets and cuddles lately. He will go on his hind legs and beg for pets! Then u pet him for a sec, then he will be back on his hind legs again and beg for more. Silly puppy.

I miss my Norman so badly at times. Long distance is so extremely hard. But u just gotta hold ur head up high and be patient =o) I need my Norman fix!!!

Enough babbling, back to scrapbooking i gooooooo weeeeeeeEeeeeeeEEeeeee!

Christmas Paper Bag Album

I wanted to try something different and experiment with icy teals, soft pinks and limes =o) I love the results <3

This meticulously crafted paper bag album measures 6 ¼ x 6 ¼ inches and has 12 fully decorated pages and a total of 25 tags for extra photos and journaling.

This album has plenty of snowflakes, embellishments from Jolees Boutique range, brads, ribbons, pop dots, kindy glitz glitter galore, rhinestone gems, beads, glittered flourishes, ric rac lace, buttons, Christmas tree foils, prima flowers and more!

Flourishes are filled in with kindy glitz glitter and dotted with rhinestone gems creating an elegant look.

Papers are from the Dene Designs collection and also includes some textured cardstock from the DCWV range.

The binding is adorned with ribbons, pink and white fibres and ric rac lace!

Embellishments and papers are all acid and lignin free and are of the highest quality.

Every page and tag has been machine stitched and inked.
